Phil Willmott - Actor
Before refocusing his career as a director and writer Phil trained as an actor on the three year Performing Arts degree course at Rose Bruford, following many happy years in Bristol's Youth Theatres.
He still enjoys occasionally appearing as an actor and strongly believes all directors should experience performing from time to help them best understand the actor's process.
His acting career encompassed regional theatre in Chester, Westcliff and Watford and favourite roles in London include Porfiri in Crime and Punishment, Creon in Oedipus, Max in The Sound of Music, The British Ambassador in The King and I, Fix in Around the World in Eighty Days, Captain Smollett in Treasure Island, Dr Seward in Dracula and Caesar in Androcles and the Lion.
TV includes 150 episodes of Satellite TV's Sci-Fi soap Jupiter Moon, The Bill, Men Behaving Badly, Goggle Eyes and an Actors Life for Me.
Film: Clive Barker's Nightbreed.
